AML Portal Release Notes
We are continuously improving the AML Portal to bring you a smoother and more powerful experience. This page is your go-to hub for all our latest updates — from exciting new features to helpful improvements and fixes — organised by release.
Release notes - 3.17.0 July 16, 2026
We're excited to bring a major addition to screening and monitoring in the AML Portal, plus a refinement for manual risk assessment.
New: Adverse Media Screening
It is now possible to add Adverse media screening results for both companies and persons, providing the context required to assess and act on potential matches:
Headline and article summary for every result, enabling quick assessment of relevance.
Sentiment indicator reflecting the severity of the coverage.
Adverse keywords identifying exactly what triggered the match.
Direct links to the original source article, opening in a new tab.
False positive management, allowing hits to be dismissed and reinstated as needed.
Email alerts to the assignee and customer manager whenever a new adverse media hit is detected.
Adverse media screening is a paid add-on feature. Organizations interested in enabling this feature are invited to contact Verified to discuss availability and pricing.
Improvements & Fixes
- Risk assessment reliability: Resolved an issue where projects without an active risk matrix could show an error on the risk assessment tab, blocking users from manually setting a risk level or locking the assessment. Manual risk assessments now work as expected, with a clear informational message when no indicators are configured.
Release Notes – v3.16.0 Jun 25, 2026
About this release This release focuses on enhancing company data monitoring capabilities.
New Monitoring tab. A new tab has been introduced on the project page specifically for company information monitoring. This provides an overview of all detected changes to company data, grouped by date. New changes are marked with an unread indicator (a blue dot), and options are available to "mark all as read" or navigate directly to the person or company tab to review the details. Please note: New screening hits are not displayed on this tab.
"Updated" badge for monitored company changes. Any field updated via company monitoring now displays an "Updated" badge on the Company tab. The badge is visible to all users and disappears automatically after 7 days. This badge applies strictly to monitoring updates and will not appear for manual entry, API updates, or KYC sources.
Email notifications for monitoring updates. Assignees and managers will now receive an email notification when monitored company data changes are detected. All changes for a specific project are aggregated into a single email, which includes a direct link to the company tab for immediate review of the updates.
🔧 Improvements
Expanded data points in exports. All previously missing data points for company lookups and key roles have been added to the export function. Additionally, "Company registration numbers" has been renamed to "Organisation number" for consistency. The exported data is now complete according to the updated specification, without requiring manual additions.
Release Notes – v3.15.0 Jun 11, 2026
This release includes a couple of small but useful improvements.
🔧 Improvements
External ID now visible on the project settings page. If a project has an External ID, it is now displayed on the Settings page for easy reference.
Social security number now pre-filled in forms. When a person with a social security number on file is the signer of a form, their SSN is now automatically populated in the form. This removes the need to enter it manually and helps ensure the right person is signing.
Release Notes – v3.14.0 Jun 5, 2026
This is a major release. The project page has been fully redesigned to make it easier to navigate and act on the information that matters most. We've also introduced smarter risk assessment behaviour — including a projected risk view and automatic risk updates.
✨ New Features
Completely redesigned project page. The project page has been rebuilt from the ground up based on user feedback. Information is now organised into dedicated tabs — Overview, Company, Persons, Files, Events, and Risk Assessment — with cleaner layouts, better navigation, and quicker access to key actions.
See a projected risk when your assessment is locked or sealed. When project data changes on a project with a locked or sealed assessment, the assessment itself is no longer automatically updated. Instead, you'll now see a projected risk — a forecast of how the updated data would affect the risk level — so you can make an informed decision about whether to unlock or start a new assessment. Your finalised risk stays protected until you choose to act. Please note that the projected risk is not calculated retroactively — it will be calculated on the next update to relevant data, such as a new screening hit. You can also manually trigger an update by refreshing the project page.
Risk indicators on open assessments update automatically. When project data changes on a project with an open assessment, the risk indicators now update automatically to reflect the latest information. No manual refresh needed — your open assessments always show the most current picture.
Clearer guidance when your risk matrix is outdated. If the risk matrix used in an assessment is no longer the latest version, you'll now see a clear warning and an option to update it. The behaviour differs depending on assessment state: on open assessments, you can update directly; on locked assessments, you'll be prompted when unlocking; on sealed assessments, starting a new assessment will automatically apply the latest matrix. The risk matrix is never updated automatically — you're always in control.
New dedicated Settings page for each project. Project settings are now collected in one place, accessible from the top-right corner on any project tab. The Settings page is organised into the following sections:
General — Edit the project name, update the organisation number, refresh company information from third-party providers, and change the project workflow.
Company Monitoring — Enable or disable company monitoring for the project.
Link Dependency — Link or unlink a dependency to another project with the same organisation number or name.
Project Access — Mark a project as confidential, and manage role and user permissions — including adding, removing, and updating access levels for individual users.
Delete Project — Permanently delete a project. A confirmation step is required before the project is removed.
All changes across any section require an explicit Save action to take effect.
Release Notes – v3.13.0· May 22, 2026
This release is focused on stability and data accuracy. We've resolved several issues affecting how data is captured and displayed across KYC forms, risk assessments, and project filters.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Multi-select country fields now feed correctly into risk assessments. When a country selector with "allow multiple selection" was used in a form, answers were not being registered in the risk matrix and returned no output in related data points. This has been fixed — multiple country selections now flow through correctly to the risk assessment.
- KYC country field now saves and displays correctly after signing. When signing a KYC form without manually editing an auto-filled country field, the country was showing incorrectly in the generated PDF and then disappearing from the company tab entirely. Both the PDF and the company tab now reflect the correct country value after signing.
- PEP data now saves reliably when added via KYC. When a new PEP was submitted through a KYC form, the entry would sometimes appear in the portal with no data attached — no name, date of birth, or country. PEP records created through KYC now always include all submitted information.
- Expiring assessments now visible across your full team. It was not possible to filter for projects with expiring assessments belonging to other team members — results were limited to the logged-in user only. You can now query expiring assessments across any user or filter combination you have access to.
Release Notes – v3.12.0 · May 7, 2026
This release brings a refreshed customer search experience, several improvements to the portal, and fixes for reported issues. Here's what's new.
🔧 Improvements
- Refreshed customer search — The customer search page has a new, cleaner design that makes it easier to find what you're looking for. All existing filters and functionality are intact — just a better look and feel.
- Screening alerts cleaned up — The alerts section has been updated to focus on what matters. "Assessment expired" has been removed from the alert filters (it now has its own dedicated card on the Overview), and the section has been renamed to "Screening hits" for clarity.
- Export always includes Project ID and Project Name — When exporting data, Project ID and Project Name are now pre-selected by default and cannot be deselected. These fields are essential for identifying projects in any export, so they'll always be included going forward.
- Log out directly from the portal — You can now log out of the AML Portal without having to navigate back to the main platform first. A dedicated log out option is available in the portal navigation, ending your session immediately and redirecting you to the login screen.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Beneficial Owner percentages now update correctly after a KYC form is submitted — Previously, after completing a KYC form for a company with beneficial owners or shareholders, the ownership percentages on the company info page would show as 0% until the page was manually refreshed. This has been fixed — the correct percentages now display immediately.
- "Auditor" label corrected — The label for the Auditor role was showing an incorrect translation in both the Company Info and Person tabs. This has been corrected in both Swedish and English.
Release Notes – v3.11.0 · April 23, 2026
This release brings a brand-new data export feature, several improvements to how the portal loads and behaves, and a set of fixes to the final report to make it more accurate and consistent. Here's what's new.
✨ New Features
- Export data to CSV. You can now export project data directly from the Customer Search page. Choose the data fields you want, apply any filters, and kick off an export. No need to wait around; you can keep working in the portal while the download is being prepared.
- Email notification when your export is ready. Once your export has finished generating, you'll receive an email with a direct link to navigate back to Customer Projects for downloading the export.
- Control who can create and view exports. Admins can now manage export permissions through policy settings. You can decide which user groups are allowed to create exports and whether they can view all exports in the portal or only their own. By default, Export policy settings are only enabled for Admin users.
🔧 Improvements
- Faster portal loading. The portal now loads significantly faster, especially for users who belong to multiple companies. Company account data is fetched on demand rather than all at once on page load, reducing wait times noticeably.
- KYC form data now populates person profiles automatically. When a KYC form is completed, the data on the project is automatically updated with information from the form, including address, email, nationality, and phone number. If no matching person is found, a new one is created. This reduces manual data entry.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Final report accuracy and language improvements. Several issues with the final report have been resolved: role labels now display in the correct language instead of showing in English or as raw system keys; dates of birth for key roles now show the full date in YYYY-MM-DD format rather than the year only; and shareholder and beneficial ownership data now correctly shows ownership percentages.
- Sealed assessments: outdated risk update button is now hidden. On projects with a sealed risk assessment, the "Update outdated risk assessment" button is no longer shown. Only the option to start a new assessment is available, preventing unintended changes to sealed records.
- Scrolling no longer breaks after using the navigation menu on smaller screens. On smaller browser windows, expanding the navigation menu and then navigating to the New Project page caused the scrollbar to disappear across the portal. This is now fixed.
Release Notes – v3.10.0 · April 9, 2026
This release brings a handful of meaningful improvements to how you see and act on your work — from a smarter Overview dashboard to more reliable final reports. We've also fixed two issues affecting the language and accuracy of final report content.
✨ New Features
- Webhook notifications for declined signatures. If a signer declines or aborts signing a document, you'll now receive a webhook notification right away — so you always know the current status of your project without having to check manually.
🔧 Improvements
- Assessment Expiration card now shows only your projects. The Assessment Expiration card on the Overview previously listed all projects. It now filters to only show projects you're assigned to or managing, so you can focus on what's relevant to you.
- KYC forms for private persons are now pre-filled with project data. When you start a KYC form for a private person, the form will automatically pull in data already registered on the project — saving you from re-entering information you've already provided.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Final report risk parameters now display in the correct language. Risk parameters in final reports were appearing in a mix of Swedish and English, even when the portal language was set to Swedish. This has been corrected — all content in the final report will now match your portal's language setting.
Release Notes – v3.9.0 · March 26, 2026
This release brings better visibility into your approvals and expiring assessments, and a handful of fixes that make the platform more reliable and professional.
✨ New Features
- Approvals on your Overview — The Overview page now includes a dedicated Approvals card. You can see all approvals waiting for your action, who requested them, and when — without having to dig through individual projects. Jump straight to any approval, or view the full list in one click. When an approval is done, it will no longer be visible on the Overview and the Approvals card is hidden when there are no pending approvals. Keeping your dashboard focused and clutter-free.
- Assessment Expiration on your Overview — A new expiration card on the Overview highlights assessments that have already expired or are coming up for renewal (in the next 45 days). You can see the risk level, the expiration date, and go directly to the project to start a new assessment. Once a new assessment is opened, the project drops off the list automatically.
🔧 Improvements
- Clearer feedback when you can't override a risk score — Introduced manual risk score override policy: Admins can now assign or restrict the ability to manually override a project's risk classification at the user group level. If your account doesn't have permission to manually override a risk score, that option is now visibly disabled with an explanatory message.
- API: filter projects by last updated date — Integrators can now query projects using
updatedFromandupdatedTodate parameters, making it easier to sync or poll for recent changes without pulling the full dataset. - API: one open assessment per project, enforced consistently — The portal has always prevented opening a new assessment on a project that already has one in progress. The API now enforces the same rule, keeping data consistent whether you work via the portal or directly through the API.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Final reports now display readable sanction labels — Sanction hit indicators in generated reports were showing raw internal codes (e.g.
risk.default,sanctions.noHit) instead of plain language like "No hit." - Screening threshold now correctly prevents risk changes — Screening matches that fell below configured threshold were still triggering risk recalculations and unlocking completed assessments. This auto-unlock behavior has been removed. A locked assessment will now stay locked regardless of any screening activity — giving you full control over when an assessment is reopened.
- Customer data loads correctly when country is selected last — When adding a new customer from a country not supported for automatic data lookup, selecting the country as the final step would prevent data from populating correctly. This is now fixed regardless of the order fields are filled in.
updatedAttimestamp on projects now stays current — The last-updated timestamp on projects was not refreshing when changes were made. This is now corrected, ensuring accurate timestamps for reporting and integrations.- API now prevents double-sealing or double-locking assessments — It was possible via the API to seal or lock an assessment that was already sealed or locked. The API now blocks this correctly and returns a clear explanation.
Release Notes – v3.8.0 · March 16, 2026
This release brings a refreshed navigation experience and resolves several important issues.
✨ New Features
- New navigation bar: The portal has a redesigned navigation menu that's cleaner and easier to use. Moving to a neutral navigation reduces 'visual noise,' allowing the user to focus on the data that matters.
🔧 Improvements
- More reliable data lookups: When our screening data provider experiences a temporary outage, the system now automatically retries using a backup connection — reducing the chance of interruptions during company lookups.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Risk names can be edited again: An issue prevented users from renaming risks across all accounts. This is now resolved.
- Risks can be deleted after import: Risks imported from another portal were incorrectly flagged as "in use by a workflow," blocking deletion even when no workflow was using them. This is now fixed.
- Refreshing a project no longer changes its workflow: Clicking the refresh icon on a project would unexpectedly reset the workflow back to whatever was loaded when you first opened the page. It now refreshes data only — no unintended changes.
Release Notes – v3.7.0 · February 27, 2026
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Company lookup pill shows correct status after KYC sign: We fixed supported company lookups incorrectly showing “Lookup not supported.” The status pill now correctly reflects country support and the signed event.
- NACE 2025: Codes now visible alongside descriptions in Risk Assessment: We added the missing NACE codes next to their descriptions. The risk assessment page now renders both code and description consistently.
- Correct description for NACE codes under Company Information: We corrected the mismatched description of two NACE codes in Company Information. Source mapping was updated.
- Accurate inheritance of multi-level risk scores (NACE, Country lists): We fixed sub-level indicators inheriting the wrong score from the top level. This prevents incorrect customer risk values. Sub-levels now inherit from the nearest active parent.
- Alternative beneficial owner from KYC added to Persons tab: We mapped “Alternative beneficial owner” so the person appears with role on the Persons tab after sign. The role is added and data is pre-populated in new KYCs.
- Email notifications follow Back Office language setting: We aligned email language with a global Back Office setting. This avoids mixed-language notifications. Configure the email language in Back Office and emails will use that locale. Note that this cannot be changed per user, only per portal.
- Required assessment comment box no longer appears after sealing via API: Resolved an issue where, despite sealing an assessment and providing a comment through the API, users still saw the “comment required” box. Now, this box is hidden as expected once the assessment is sealed via API, streamlining the workflow for API-driven customers
