Why is Verified changing the links to custom flows?
Verified is changing the platform that hosts our custom flows from Netlify to Amazon Web Services. As the platforms differ, links to custom flows need to be updated.
When will the new links work?
The new links pointing to the new custom flow platform are already working. As such, you can change your link already today. If you come across something that is not working as intended, please contact Verified Support at support@verified.eu.
Is the new platform compliant with GDPR?
Yes. Verified is using Amazon Web Services located within the EU. The platform is already on our subcontractor list.
What do I need to do if my company has a custom flow?
You'll need to update the external links pointing to your custom flow. Including but not limited to links found on your webpage/intranet, in emails to clients/employees or in newsletters.
The domain name and link structure needs to be updated, but your custom flow's name will remain the same:
From:
https://EXAMPLE-NAME.web.verified.eu
To:
app.verified.eu/web/EXAMPLE-NAME/
NB: You will need to bring any URL parameters that were part of your old link to the new link. For example:
Old link | New link |
EXAMPLE-NAME.web.verified.eu?access_token=eyJhbG... | app.verified.eu/web/EXAMPLE-NAME/?access_token=eyJhbG... |
EXAMPLE-NAME.web.verified.eu/#/id-control | app.verified.eu/web/EXAMPLE-NAME/#/id-control |
What about links in our Dashboard/Archive?
The links found by clicking the NEW/START button while logged in to your Dashboard/Archive, pointing to your custom flows, will be automatically updated to the new links in the background.
How long will the old link work?
The old link will continue to work as it does today. We will gather usage statistics for a period of time, and if we discover flows that are being accessed frequently from their old link, we will contact the given customers and encourage them to start using their new links.
