1. Is this relevant to me?
This feature is relevant to you if you have customers who should authenticate using their passports. This is especially useful for countries with no supported eID providers.
2. What is it?
The Verified platform now includes the Passport Reader as an additional authentication method, as part of Verified Secure.
3. How does it work?
The sender has the option to select Passport Reader as an authentication method (in which case the personal number of the recipient should be entered). After the envelope is published, when the recipients open the invitation, they will be greeted by the Passport Reader authentication screen.
At that point, the user will be guided to install the passport reader app, which is needed for the authentication process.
4. How can I get it?
This feature is available on demand.
If you are interested, you can contact our support staff via email at support@verified.eu.
5. What about API users?
These new methods are available via our API (keep in mind that this feature will need to be enabled for your organization first).
