Feature update: Verified Secure 2.0 is now available as a standalone service

1. Is this relevant to me?

This is relevant to organizations which want to use eID providers (such as BankID) or SMS to restrict access to various web applications.

2. What is it?

Verified Secure if an authentication service provided by Verified, which encapsulates the following authentication methods:

• Swedish BankID
• Norwegian BankID
• NemID
• FTN (Finnish BankID and Mobiilivarmenne)
• SMS

and more, which will be coming soon.

By offering Verified Secure as a standalone service, organizations will be able to integrate with it directly,  restricting access to the web applications of their choice while using the eID methods that users are already familiar with. 

3. How can I get it?

The new method is available on demand, and you can request it by simply leaving a message to our support staff via email at support@verified.eu

4. Is this available for API users?

This is available only via API, and the documentation for this service is available here.

5. How does it work

After the feature has been enabled for your organization, it will be up to your developers to set up the integration, based on your business needs. The only time the users will be exposed to this service is during the authentication process. This is what the users will see:

Does my organization still need to have a company inside the Verified platform?

Yes, but it can be an empty company with a single admin user. This is needed in order to associate the usage to a company and expose that information in the usage stats section of the admin area
