1. Is this relevant to me?
This feature is relevant to you if you have documents that need to be signed by Danish customers.
2. What is it?
We have introduced a new signing method, called NemID DK E-Ident, to overcome the limitations of the existing one (NETS NemID DK):
- File size limitations - PDF files will no longer have to be under 3.5MB, and instead have the same file size limitation as the rest of the Verified platform: 20MB
- PDF format limitations - You will no longer be required to upload PDFs in PDF/A format, and instead you will be able to upload any regular PDF
in addition to that, with the new method, the recipient will no longer have to review the document a second time, when starting the signing process with NemID.
3. How can I get it?
The new method require setting up certificates, and will be enabled on demand. If you wish to make use of this feature simply leave a message to our support staff via email at support@verified.eu
4. Is this available for API users?
Yes, this method is available via our API, and you can read more in our API documentation page.
5. How does it work?
Once the methods have been enabled for your company, they should show next to the existing methods in the Verified web app:
or be available via our API.
In terms of differences from the user's point of view, in addition to not being limited by file size and PDF format, a noticeable change will be no longer having to review the document when starting the signing process
