Why can't I download the signed document, as a silent party?

What went wrong?

If you've received an email to download a document, and the link took you here, then that means you are not able to download the document.

Why is that?

When using Authentication (Verified Secure), it's crucial that all the actors involved in the signing process are required to authenticate (both before signing and before downloading the signed document). This means that

• recipients will be requested to authenticate with BankID or SMS
• the sender will authenticate in the Verified platform

That leaves out the silent party. Since the silent party is defined by just an email and no authentication method, that means they are not secure and can not download the signed document when Verified Secure has been enabled.

As a silent party, what you should do is talk to the sender of the envelope and make them aware that you can not get your copy since authentication (Verified Secure) was used in the signing process.
