We've introduced the option to get notified when an email bounces and it could not be delivered.
This can happen for a variety of reasons:
- an invalid email address that was set for the recipient
- the sender's mailbox being full or temporarily unavailable
This feature works by sending you an email when an invitation sent to a recipient has failed. When that happens, you will need to get the envelope ID from the email you've received, go back in to the Verified App and in the Archive enter the envelope ID in the search box. This will find you the problematic envelope at which point you should edit the recipient and change their email address (assuming it was wrong, which is the most likely scenario).
As we consider this to be part of the core functionality, the feature is enabled by default.
If you wish to disable this for whatever reason you can go to My Settings › Settings and under Notifications tick "Do NOT notify me on email bounced"
