There might be situations (such as needing to contact Support) where you will need an envelope ID. This can be found in the following locations:
1. The Archive (if you are the envelope's sender)
The easiest way to get the envelope ID, if you are the Sender, is going to the Dashboard/Archive. finding the envelope in question (you can search for recipient email or by date, if you need to narrow down your results) and expanding it.
2. The email's footer (in some situations)
After 26 sep, 2020 we introduced the envelope ID in the email footer as well. If you received an envelope after that date, it should include the ID, with the exception of some custom templates that have their own custom email templates.
3. The signed document
In the last page of your signed document you will have the Transaction ID, which has the format
AAAAAAAAAA-BBBBBBBBBB
where
- AAAAAAAAA is the envelope ID
- BBBBBBBBBB is the document ID
